Billie Reinhart
At the age of 17, Billie was drawn to the spiritual, non-competitive, and pain relieving aspects of yoga. A Hatha certified instructor, Billie has been studying Anusara since 2006, the same year she began teaching yoga. She is certified with Yoga Alliance, ACE and AFAA. Her special interest in therapeutics and anatomy led her to study Thai Yoga Bodywork in 2010. Her style is also influenced by her personal Anusara, Acro-yoga, and partner yoga practice.
When she began learning yoga and massage for her own body, she discovered the power of blending the three practices of massage, yoga, and chiropractic. Her journey turned into a career as a yoga instructor in 2006, a thai massage practitioner in 2010 and a massage therapist in 2012.
She’s passionate to give bodies what they need to heal themselves while blending different modalities of massage and body awareness to find and maintain good health. Her Anusara yoga training is one of the most respected yoga systems for its specific & therapeutic alignment principles.
She uses NeuroMuscular Therapy for clients in a lot of pain or for “stubborn” areas and encourages more massage therapists to study NMT because of its immediate and sometimes called “miraculous” effects on areas that may be too painful to the touch to use traditional massage techniques.
